Between 2017 and 2020, I began my career as a Junior CAD Technician, producing 2D technical drawings under the guidance of senior staff. As my experience grew, I progressed into the role of CAD Manager for the office, taking responsibility for maintaining company CAD standards, managing the AutoCAD library, and reviewing the work of other technicians.

Following the restructuring & downsizing of the company, I worked as the sole CAD and BIM Technician within a small engineering consultancy, taking full responsibility for the production, coordination, and management of all project deliverables. This role involved developing and maintaining structural Revit models, producing construction and tender drawings, managing BIM workflows in line with ISO 19650, and coordinating closely with engineers and external design team members. I also oversaw document control, clash detection, and information exchange through the project CDE, ensuring a high level of accuracy and consistency across all outputs.
